1. Our commitment
Harborlight Rep Group wants every visitor — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings — to be able to read this site and contact us. We treat accessibility as part of ordinary site maintenance rather than a one-off project.
2. Standard we aim for
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. The site is not independently certified, and we describe our status as partially conformant: some older PDF documents linked from the Resources page have not yet been remediated.
3. Measures already in place
- Semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so assistive technology can navigate the structure.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are marked as such.
- Colour combinations chosen to meet contrast requirements for body text and interface controls.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, accordions and the cookie banner.
- Respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” preference, which disables animation and parallax effects.
- Responsive layout that reflows to 320 px width and supports 200% text zoom without loss of content.
4. Known limitations
Some supplier catalog PDFs are provided by manufacturers and may not be fully tagged. Where you encounter one, contact us and we will supply the information in an accessible format — usually within five business days at no cost.
