Resources & forum guidelines

This domain hosts our moderated partner forum. Here are the rules that govern it, plus the references our field team uses every week.

The partner forum

Why we run a forum at all

Application questions repeat. A distributor in Trenton and a plant engineer in Wilmington will hit the same seal-compatibility problem within a month of each other, and both will call us. Publishing the answer once, with the reasoning attached, saves everyone a week.

The forum is moderated by our inside support staff during business hours. Threads are reviewed before they become publicly visible, and contributors post under real names tied to a verified employer.

  • Free membership for customers, distributors and principal employees.
  • No anonymous commercial posting, ever.
  • Answers attributed to a named person, not a support alias.
  • Archived threads remain readable and searchable.

Community standards

Posting rules

Registration requires a working business email address. Consultants should state who they are working for on a given thread. Accounts using disposable addresses are removed without notice.

Include the application, the fluid or duty, temperatures, pressures, materials and what you have already tried. “Which pump is best” threads are closed and redirected to a sizing request.

Vendors may answer questions about their own products and must disclose the relationship in the post. Promotional threads, link drops, SEO spam and affiliate links are deleted and the account is blocked.

Do not post customer names, drawings, pricing or bid documents you are not authorized to share. Redact before uploading. Moderators will remove material that appears proprietary.

Nothing posted on this site replaces a licensed engineer's judgment, the manufacturer's installation manual or applicable code. See our Disclaimer.

New member posts are queued for review during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30–17:30 ET). Established members post directly with spot checks. Removal decisions can be appealed by emailing webmaster@forum.pacific-reps.com; we respond within five business days.
